Pasquale Lisena

Researcher in Knowledge Graphs and Information Extraction at EURECOM. He got a PhD in Data Science from Sorbonne University in 2019. He is the principal investigator of the French (ANR) project kFLOW, which aims to automatically extract the relations between events and facts from texts. He served as Poster & Demo chair for TheWebConf 2021, and as PC member of international conferences and workshops.
Ilaria Tiddi
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Assistant Professor in Hybrid Intelligence at the Knowledge in AI (KAI) group of the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. Her research focuses on creating systems that generate complex narratives through a combination of machine learning, semantic technologies, and cognitive theories, mostly applied in e-Science and robotics scenarios. She is Editor-in-Chief of the CEUR-WS publication series and Program Chair of the next Hybrid-Human Artificial Intelligence conference (HHAI2023). Since 2014, she has organised a number of workshop series (Recoding Black Mirror, Application of Semantic Web Technologies in Robotics, Linked Data 4 Knowledge Discovery).
Simon Gottschalk
L3S Research Center, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany
Postdoctoral researcher and group leader at the L3S Research Center at Leibniz University Hannover. He has created EventKG, a knowledge graph of events, organised the Workshop on Dataset PROFILing and Search at the International Semantic Web Conference 2019 and 2020, and was a member of the programme committee of the Workshop on Cross-lingual Event-centric Open Analytics 2021 and 2022.
Luc Steels
Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Spain
Emeritus Professor and founding director of the AI Laboratory at the University of Brussels (VUB) and former founding director of the Sony Computer Science Laboratory in Paris. He is associated with the Institute for Evolutionary Biology of the UPF/CSIC in Barcelona as an ICREA research professor. Currently, he is focusing on breaking new ground for integrating meaning and understanding into AI through the EU project MUHAI and for achieving value-aware AI through the EU project VALAWAI.
