Researcher in Knowledge Graphs and Information Extraction at EURECOM. He got a PhD in Data Science from Sorbonne University in 2019. He is the principal investigator of the French (ANR) project kFLOW, which aims to automatically extract the relations between events and facts from texts. He served as Poster & Demo chair for TheWebConf 2021, and as PC member of international conferences and workshops.
Simon Gottschalk
L3S Research Center, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany
Postdoctoral researcher and group leader at the L3S Research Center at Leibniz University Hannover. He has created EventKG, a knowledge graph of events, organised the Workshop on Dataset PROFILing and Search at the International Semantic Web Conference 2019 and 2020, and was a member of the programme committee of the Workshop on Cross-lingual Event-centric Open Analytics 2021 and 2022.
Inès Blin
Sony Computer Science Laboratories-Paris, France - VU Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Inès Blin is an Assistant Researcher at the Sony Computer Science Laboratories in Paris, and a Ph.D. student in the Learning & Reasoning group at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research focuses on building complex narrative graphs using a combination of semantic technologies and subsymbolic techniques. She is involved in the EU project MUHAI that aims to integrate more meaning and understanding in current AI systems.
